		<title>1000 created accounts reached!</title>

		<description><![CDATA[I'd like to just make a quick announcement that we've had over 1,000 accounts registered since the creation of our forum.  I think that this number is a pretty good suggestion that Subsistence is doing well as a clan, and its growth continues as time passes.<br /><br />Although the bottom of our board says we only have about 110 registered members, this number refers to the current number of members, which I try to ensure represents the number of active forum accounts.  1,000 refers to the total number of times that anyone has visited our forum and hit "register" at the top and gone through the process.<br /><br />Either way, I think 1,000 is a big number, and a good milestone for us to take note of.<br /><br /><br /><i><b>Useph</b></i>]]></description>

		<title>NEW ASSISTANT LEADER CHOSEN</title>

		<description><![CDATA[Hey guys, and thanks to all of you who applied.<br /><br />I studied the applicants thoroughly, and  i have come to my conclusion.<br /><br />My new Assistant leader is Momo786.<br /><br />He has shown leadership qualities throughout the time i have known him, but also he an active member.<br /><br />Also, although it wasn't required but his unique event idea was very good, and i hope him and myself can get to work on this but also put it into action in the future!<br /><br />Thank you to all of you again!<br /><br />(Useph, if you see this, could you please change his forum rank to Assistant Leader, thanks, ill do the clan chat)]]></description>

This person will serve as a general Leader, primarily making sure that the forums run smoothly. 		<title>New Administrators</title>

		<description><![CDATA[With Antleope's hastily yet unfortunate departure from the clan, and my time being consumed by college, a new admin in the Subsistence leadership team is nothing unexpected.  I've appointed this new admin myself due to a need for someone who has vast knowledge of the ACP and someone I can fully trust.<br /><br />This person is Unknown828.  He will serve as an admin to the clan directly appointed by myself.  He will not be Antelope's official replacement, however.<br /><br />Yes, this means we will be adding a second admin to the team shortly to fill the spot that Antelope has left vacant.  This spot will be taken by one of the current leaders.  When whoever this leader is, is finally promoted to admin (in a few days) their spot will open up to the full clan and be available to anyone to get elected into.<br /><br /><!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Edit: The second admin has been decided. Grats to her as well!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--><br /><br /><br /><br />When I created this clan I figured it would be fair to let the clan vote on all big changes.  However, I realized that, especially recently, this just isn't safe for the clan anymore.  With people in the clan who are willing to abuse it and harm its members, this idealistic decision method has been erased for some things.  I simply can't let a vote decide who gets enough control to erase this entire forum with a few clicks with the threat of abusers looming.  If any clan member today desires to become an admin, they will have to work their way up there through being a leader first.  When I (as well as GrandTheftGamer) have invested money and time into the clan, (a $150 IPB forum license, an annual domain fee, website hosting services, and the sheer number of hours put into upkeeping it all, I will not share the wheel with just anyone.  They have to prove themselves first, and really the only way is to spend time as a leader.<br /><br />But no fear, as far as voting on things like which events we should have, all the way to changing the clan motto, the clan members will still have full voting privileges over.  The other thing is that if you ever want to do something, such as start a new program (like Subsistence Radio) or add a new forum (like the Debates Forum), just ask.  Chances are, if you come up with it, I'll let you manage it yourself. This sort of initiative will also really put you in a good light not only in my eyes, but likely many other people's as well.<br /><br />Either way, let's move forward together.  I know most of us are returning to school and can't devote as much time to the game, or may even have to retire all together, but that doesn't mean Subsistence should be forgotten.  We're not going anywhere anytime soon.  We're well into our second year of existence as a clan, and we're doing very well. 		<title>Validating Rank Update</title>

		<description><![CDATA[The validating rank has recently been updated for a trial period.  Until now, the validating rank could only see the forums that you see when you log out.  This worked, but the problem was that people who were waiting to get validated would be stuck staring at only those three forums.<br /><br />This has now been changed.  First, the validating rank has now been renamed to "Visitor," to show that they are more than merely waiting to get accepted.  Beyond that, the forums that this rank can see have been expanded.  The validating rank will now be able to see Announcements, Welcome Center, Suggestions, RuneScape General, Events, and a few other forums.  This will really allow them to get involved right away if they choose to, even if they aren't validated immediately.<br /><br />To keep people who are validating on track, a notice has been added at the top of all the other forums reminding them to apply to the clan.  The notice will disappear after they are validated.  A similar notice has been added to guests (which you can see if you log out of the forums), but reminding them to register.<br /><br />So if you see the newly named "Visitor" ranks posting in places where you haven't expected them to post, don't be alarmed, just give them a warm welcome.   <img src="http://www.clan-subsistence.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> <br /><br /><br /><br />-Useph]]></description>
