To post an application please follow these steps.

1. Please register your name if you have not already done so. This can be done by clicking "Register" at the top of any page. After you register, it will say that validation will be required. Do not worry about this. After registering, simply make sure that you are logged in. Please make sure you have read the clan foundation and the clan rules.

2. Create a new topic. This can be done by simply clicking "New Topic" while in this forum.

Title your topic whatever you wish, but "Application" tends to be the most popular choice.

Next, in the body of your application, copy and fill out the following form.

How long have you been playing RuneScape:
What is the main reason you want to join a clan:
What are your current RuneScape goals:
How did you find out about Subsistence:
What do you expect the clan to offer you:
Do you agree to abide by our rules and understand the consequences if you fail to do so:
Do you understand what IRC is (see step 4):
Are you willing to use IRC:
Are you willing to enter our clan chat and be active on RuneScape (see step 5):

3. Attach a poll to your topic. This can be done by clicking on Click here to manage this topic's poll, right under the Topic Title and Description.

The poll title can be left blank. Under poll content, click Add Poll Question. In the question, ask whether or not you can be accepted into the clan.

Next, click Add Poll Choice, and add "Yes" as the first choice, and then Add Poll Choice again, and make "No" the second choice.

After doing this, you can press Post New Topic near the bottom of the page.

4. One of the activity requirements of the clan is IRC usage. IRC is an online chatroom separate from RuneScape that the clan uses. Please read Basic IRC Guide to find out how to join our IRC chatroom.

Once you are in the chatroom, ask someone there to confirm you being in the chatroom simply by posting on your application topic, which you should provide a link to.

5. Another activity requirement of Subsistence is logging into RuneScape. To be accepted as a member, you must be in RuneScape. There are some different ways to do this. The easiest is to enter our clan chat, Subsist Clan. Ask people there to post in your topic to say you've been seen ingame. If no one is there or everyone is away, then you can either wait or take a screenshot of yourself in our clan chat.
