Drop BearName when first joined the clan: Warifier Display Name now: Spaciouz Time in clan: 8 months and 5 days. Are you in any other clans or RuneScape communities?: No I am not. Do you hold leadership positions in any other clans?: Nope. What sets you apart in terms of leadership qualities?: The fact that I have been here for reasonably long, know nearly all the members of the clan and are very friendly. What do you think the most challenging aspect of managing the Citadel will be? (hint: requires reading about citadels in bullet point 2): I feel it will be getting members to come and help out in getting resources. I hope that I can help in this by getting people to come. In at least 300 words, address an issue or area in the clan you'd like to improve as a leader. You can discuss whatever you feel is appropriate. This can be anything, but preferably related to the events department: I feel that one of the main parts to improve on is on more F2P events. I am a P2P but I know how it feels. There are many things that can be done as a F2P including events with friends. Another part I feel is that we need to advertise more in-game and hold events in this. I have heard of other clans going to Clan Camp or the Grand Exchange or any other populated area and people taking turns in walking round and then when a player wants to join, a leader can give them a Recruit rank and tell them the main parts to being a member and how to apply. This can be telling them about the forums and so on. I feel this would be better as a official event. We could hold it weekly and maybe even hold them before Clan Meetings so we can give the players a taste of our clan. This would also be better than just having one person walking round if we have many members around.I also think that members could get rewards for helping out in the Clan Citadel by getting resources. There could be rewards such as gp for cutting wood or as such. If we did it by how many logs or whatever else is made then it would be better. If we did it by 2kgp every 100 logs or so then this would be good. I am quite poor so if some members of the clan where willing to donate money to this then it would help the clan citadel out greatly. Thanks for reading this and I would like to point out that I will not be here at all for 2 weeks from tomorrow which I know is not very helpful. If anyone else applies then I say Good Luck to them. Thank You.

SlayerName when first joined the clan: Buck Teeth7 Display Name now: Drop Bear Time in clan: A couple of years, give or take a month. Are you in any other clans or RuneScape communities?: Not that I know of. Do you hold leadership positions in any other clans?: I assume not. What sets you apart in terms of leadership qualities?: I'm very frank. I will be very frank about what I think regarding plans, ideas both of others and my own. No tiptoeing around things, euphemisms slow things down. I also care about the opinions of others when it comes to leading, trying to understand what fits them. With regards to the citadel, ideas that the clan want for the citadel will be implemented, not just my own. What do you think the most challenging aspect of managing the Citadel will be? (hint: requires reading about citadels in bullet point 2):Keeping up with resources as we build bigger. At the moment, it's fine. We have resources to build more with the citadel, upkeep isn't concerning. But as we build more, that number is going to get bigger. That's going to require more clan contribution. Then there's the debate over building more. If this is built, will we have enough people next week to keep up with the upkeep? This requires more people to come. An aesthetically pleasing citadel will attract more people to spend a bit more time in the citadel. Hopefully, however, as we get more plots up and there's more to do around the citadel, more people will come. That will allow for bigger things. In at least 300 words, address an issue or area in the clan you'd like to improve as a leader. You can discuss whatever you feel is appropriate. This can be anything, but preferably related to the events department: Transparency. No transparency certainly is not a problem, but its not a plus. Sometimes people want to know what is going on with the leadership. What is being discussed. Not to say that everything that is said must be put out there, for certainly privacy is unfortunately perhaps one of the most vital things to a leadership group. Certainly I do not advocate a return to when leaders would each individually post what they had done at the end of the month. A small post about what is being planned or what has happened over the past month, just for those who are interested. Kind of like a "Behind the Scenes" post in RS. Or maybe even a few words spoken at one of the weekly meetings. If there's nothing to report, that's fine. But if there is, why not report it? This can be especially true for the events department. Tell people what's being planned. Is there something special? Something new? Something that's going to require some equipment? As for the Citadel Overseer position, a note every week or every fortnight about what's coming up for the next tick or two, what resources are needed, whether we need more people or not, etc. Also, for all those who are members, I hope that everyone has some FTP equipment that might be required. Full rune and a scimitar isn't that expensive (~150-170K,) and while I think everyone has the equipment, I would like to see those who don't have the equipment get it. It's 2 bank spaces, sits in the back of the bank, pull it out when its needed and cuts out waiting for equipment to come in for a FTP event or clan war.

dragrulezallName when first joined the clan: Slayer Display Name now: Slayer Time in clan: 2 months and 14 days. Are you in any other clans or RuneScape communities?: No Do you hold leadership positions in any other clans?: No What sets you apart in terms of leadership qualities?: I'm in the events team, so I know what it will be like being a sub-director for events, because I know the section, the powers etc. and I'm on the recruitment team, and I've never let down in that, and I've always kept up the good work. What do you think the most challenging aspect of managing the Citadel will be? (hint: requires reading about citadels in bullet point 2):There will be a couple things. One, will be making sure everybody in the clan is doing there job, and getting resources, because once we get to about tier 5, everyone in the clan will have to pitch in because the upkeep for resources will be much, much higher than it is now. Another, is getting everyone to agree on an upgrade. There may be some cool features I might want to put in, thinking they would go well with the clan, and others may agree with me, and others may not, and say it's a waste of resources, so I'll have to get the whole clan to communicate to all agree on making an upgrade, or else it won't get done. My style will probably to have votes on the forum as to what should be upgraded, so that it's the clan decided, and not just me. Everyone deserves an opinion. In at least 300 words, address an issue or area in the clan you'd like to improve as a leader. You can discuss whatever you feel is appropriate. This can be anything, but preferably related to the events department: This clan is amazing, there's not much to improve on. With all the great leaders we have now, there's pretty much nothing I can think of to be fixed, or that's already being fixed right now. I'll always make sure we have several events a week for our members to attend, and I'll strive to make sure the events are to the clans liking, and if the clan doesn't like it, or not many people attend, I'll be sure to not do it again, or for a long time. There should also be more communication in the secret events section. Not enough people are talking in it, or making threads, while we should be brainstorming for massive events, that all of the events team + leaders could attend, and it would be magnificent. Instead people are going on their own will, thinking of events themselves and posting them. I suppose that's ok, if you're making a minigame event, or such, but we haven't had a "fun" event in a while, and by fun, I mean not an activity implemented by jagex, I mean like flash mobs, following random people, conga lines to advertise subsistence, random dance mobs in varrock. Things like that. Those kind of events seem to have died out, unless there's a holiday which is only a few times a year. If everyone involved in the events staff could pitch in, and talk in the section and brainstorm these kind of events, I think they'd be a total hit.

Do you hold leadership positions in any other clans?: No. What sets you apart in terms of leadership qualities?: I have been in recruitment team, and now senior member. What do you think the most challenging aspect of managing the Citadel will be? (hint: requires reading about citadels in bullet point 2): I think the most challenging part to manage the citadel for me will be finding out when to change to a skill for different resource, but if i get this job i'll get the hang of it, and will understand fully. I don't think it will be a problem getting members to help participate gain resources because many members now actually do it, even when not asked, i will be proud if people do help out even when i ask or don't because it will go towards our citadel to a newer upgrade! In at least 300 words, address an issue or area in the clan you'd like to improve as a leader. You can discuss whatever you feel is appropriate. This can be anything, but preferably related to the events department: Well if i get the job of being overseer i would impove things that are being said in cc just to calm it down a little, and maybe persuade people just a little be active and gain the fun and experience we have of being active alot. In the events department i would improve activity, and make exciting events happening inside our citadel. I'll give in a few ideas, since we have the battle field, it would be awesome to hold clan tournaments, so p2p will have fun training against each other. Just a little thought with the keep, i just thought that maybe debates could be held their, and i could try host that, although we have got debates section on the forum. But anyway back to my improvements as being a leader, mainly just calm down coversations that are being said within clan chat. I'm very active so that's a bonus of me helping within clan chat, and for me working on the citadel.

Horsesmad50Name when first joined the clan: Seany O Crum Display Name now: Seany Time in clan: To be precise, 1 year and 1 week exactly. Are you in any other clans or RuneScape communities?: Nope. Do you hold leadership positions in any other clans?: Nope. What sets you apart in terms of leadership qualities?: I am friendly and I would give out warnings to people who misbehave n the clan (like using swears repeatedly). I do and will listen to others and view there opinions as equal, whether they are a higher rank or have been in the clan longer than others. To help me with this job, I am organized and I know the priorities of the Citadel, like the decorations which look nice come after the storehouse, battlefield, skill plots and keep. What do you think the most challenging aspect of managing the Citadel will be? (hint: requires reading about citadels in bullet point 2): There will be a few challenges, though I plan to get past them. One would be whether some people would like to upgrade things while others would not. I would solve this by having a vote and the majority would get what they want as it is only fair that way. The other one would be using the resources wisely. It will be a bit challenging to decide whether to burn our timber or use for construction. Like smithing too, where we will have to give up stones and minerals to make bars. Also deciding when to switch to other resources will be a little problematic, as some people may want the XP on some plots while we need the other resources. All these will present a challenge, though I will get used to it once I have been in this position for a few weeks. In at least 300 words, address an issue or area in the clan you'd like to improve as a leader. You can discuss whatever you feel is appropriate. This can be anything, but preferably related to the events department: If I get this job, then I will attempt to calm down some discussions in the clan. Sometimes they can be offensive and sometimes people repeatedly use bad language. I will calm this down by giving the person 3 warnings before a kick has to take place, and I will probably give them a warning for the warnings.Focusing on the Events Department, I will Create fun experiences in the Citadel twice a week. I will start it off by doing a bit of skilling in the plots we need resources for, while having a chat. then we will have a few games in the battlefield to have some fun. Then we will go back to a bit more skilling but not as much as before. Then we will go into the keep and tell the people what to do for the rest of the week if they have not completed their work. Then if we have a party room or more features, we will have fun with that. I will make 2 of these a week and not make it mandatory to attend. For those who don't I will post on the forums about what we will focus on the rest of the week. I will make the Subsistence Citadel a fun, floating place where people can relax. In the Events Department away from the Citadel, I think we need to improve in the amount of events being created. Reading the DoE applications, it seems my new , well, boss will encourage players to make more events, and so will I. On our advertising posts, It says we have "A wide range of events" though the wideness of this has gone down. We need a few more events and some new event ideas. Hopefully, if we encourage newer people to make events, which may bring some new, fun, and great ideas. Some people join for a week or 2 without even knowing you can make your own events.

Name when first joined the clan:Horsesmad50Display Name now: Horsesmad50... It's too ME to change =]Time in clan:Long enough to know I belong here =] Still. A few months. Are you in any other clans or RuneScape communities?:Hell Naw, Viva La Subsistence! Do you hold leadership positions in any other clans?:Pfffft. No. What sets you apart in terms of leadership qualities?:I have good communication skills, and I'm friendly enough to get on with everybody in the clan, and persuade people to be involved in the Citadel.I'm laid back, but I can be serious when it's needed.I'd love to make a real difference in the clan, and I want to keep control over all the areas I'm in charge of. If I have a goal, I'll stick to it because I get a real sense of achievement at the end. What do you think the most challenging aspect of managing the Citadel will be? (hint: requires reading about citadels in bullet point 2):Getting people involved with the upkeep of the citadel would be challenging, seeing as once we get to higher tiers the price of mantaining the place will creep up, something we aren't worrying about at the minute will soon become priority. In at least 300 words, address an issue or area in the clan you'd like to improve as a leader. You can discuss whatever you feel is appropriate. This can be anything, but preferably related to the events department: I'd love to set up rewards for people who are involved in the Citadel upkeep, and I feel a points system would work well for this. Eg. Help out ten times in the citadel then you can get yourself a badge. I think it'd be fair and giving something more back to players who take the time to help with the citadel management. the sense of achievement in itself of helping to make the citadel something impressive and enviable should be something clan members are encouraged to work towards. I want to make a difference in the clan behaviour in both meetings and clan chat. Lately, it's been better, but sure there are still times when I'm in clan chat being abused with not a single leader around. I wanna change that and hopefully make relations between clan members better Anybody who needs help in any way will find it if it's in my power to give it, because that's the kind of person I am. I like to help sort out feuds and patch up relationships. Something i think the clan would benefit from. I feel another way of improving this issue would be suggesting a week's trial run for new clan members before they join the clan full time. All of us have experienced the annoyance when somebody is let in after a two second vote and end up spamming abuse in clan chat ten minutes later. Showing members the full experience of being in the clan before they join would help everything, I reckon. Quality over Crappity. War events in the citadel would be amazing to set up, and I'd love to be a part of making the battlefield look as badass as humanly possible. Getting people roped into things would be a challenge I'm willing to undertake. I want to give the clan members what THEY want, and modifications made to the citadel would be incorporating the ideas of other people as well as just myself.
